The Michi-chan DMV Derby District includes DC, Maryland, Delaware and the areas of Virginia in the DC suburbs and in the beach area.  These are the primary leagues that are covered by Michi-chan Sports.  Please check them out and give them your support!

DC Roller Derby

Formerly DC Rollergirls, which is a WFTDA member.  In 2024, the league has been looking for a permanent venue space.  They have held some bouts at various venues in Maryland and Virginia.

Southern Delaware (SODEL) Roller Derby

SODEL is a WFTDA member and normally plays their home bouts at the Dover Skating Center in Dover, DE.

Delaware Scrappies Roller Derby

Founded in 2025, Delaware Scrappies is a new league that will be playing short track roller derby. The league is open gender. The league practices and will eventually be bouting at Skateworld in Laurel, DE.  

A website for the league is under construction.  For now, if you are on Delmarva and wish to skate for this league, please watch the Facebook page for upcoming open practices or contact Michi-chan Sports for more information.

Diamond State Roller Derby

Diamond State is a WFTDA member.  Their bouts are held at the Christiana Skate Center in Newark, DE.

Frederick Roller Derby

Frederick Roller Derby (FRD) plays their home bouts at Governor Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, MD.

MARS Junior Roller Derby

Maryland Area Roller Sports (MARS) Roller Derby is a juniors roller derby program and is a member of JRDA.  Their home bouts are normally played at Turner's Skate Palace in Hagerstown, MD.

301 Derby Dames

301 is a WFTDA member.  For home bouts, the league skates at Charles County Fair in La Plata, MD.
